Fortnite White Week 4

Fortnite White By: Shannon Novello

SFU Fortnite White’s Tough Fight for Victory

After coming off the high from last week, the team strode confidently into their matches--but maybe a little too confident. The team was, unfortunately, only able to earn 3 points for the night.
For the first match, the team decided to drop South of Holly Hedges. This is one of their safe spaces, so they knew there would be lots of loot and not as many people. After a while, they made their way to the circle. As they were approaching, Faythe "SilentEnigma" Miller heard shots coming for them. Eventually, a car approached SilentEnigma and eliminated her. Keirsten "YourGirlKNL" LaSalle was still in and decided to get in a car to get away faster. She was being targeted, but was able to hide for a while before they found her. She was eliminated and the team placed 26th earning them their first point.
Match 2, they decided to drop in at the Weather Station. They have been waiting to drop here all season and decided to take their chances. As they glided into the station, they did not hear any other opponents in the area. After collecting loot and supplies for builds, they heard shots in their direction; they threw a build up to defend themselves from their opponents. They were able to run away and hide for a while, but SilentEnigma ultimately got shot down by opponents. Shortly after, YourGirlKNL was shot and eliminated by the same team. They placed 29th for the match, which earned them one more point.
For match 3, the last and final match of the night, the team again decided to drop-in South of Holly Hedges. They both were collecting loot and building materials for a little bit, but then another team came along and eliminated them quicker than they could fight back. They placed 33rd for the round which earned them one last point for the night.
Even though the SFU Fortnite team did not have the best night, they still fought hard in all three matches and took their defeat as an opportunity to grow.
