Starting off strong, SFU's Valorant (white) team created a strategy to communicate throughout the rounds, but the internet had other plans. Still, they attempted to work through the troubles.
Match One:
For the first game, they were in the Haven Map, White team progressed through as the attackers, and eliminated the other teams players. With Pace U. gaining Flawless, meaning that no one on the winning team dies within the round, a few times, the SFU team was set back. Starting their switch as defenders off strong, they won a few rounds. They gradually fell behind and eventually lost 9 to 13.
Match Two:
For the second game, they were in the Bind Map, SFU team playing the role as the attackers did not start out as strong as they would have liked. Nevertheless, player NetherDragon4 gained an ACE, after killing all of the opposing teams players by themselves. They continued on a losing streak as the attackers but eventually switched roles as defenders. They started off strong while playing the defender role, but things went south quickly. They started so strong, and eventually they fell too quickly, losing this second round 5 to 13.
The game did not go how they planned it; a post-game interview revealed that the team might need to work better on communication. "The team tried their best, but they were not able to pull through. I think we need more practice working as a team, and communicating." - Sean "Bullswan508" Radkowski.
