Dr. Ecklund is an Associate Professor of Management in the Shields School of Business. He's been teaching management since 1998 and has been at Saint Francis since 2011. Dr. Ecklund grew up with video games (Atari 2600 and the original Nintendo Entertainment System), but he really got the gaming bug while working as a District Sales Manager for Electronics Boutique after graduating as an undergrad. His real love is role-playing games (Ultima and World of Warcraft) but he also enjoys loot shooters (Destiny), action RPGs (Diablo and Path of Exile) and just about anything you can shake a joystick at. Dr. Ecklund enjoys building his own gaming rigs and has his eye on a brand new PS5.
He's also exceptionally proud of how much the members of the Saint Francis Esports program have accomplished in such a short period of time!
