James Gresko

My name is Jimmy Gresko.  I have always had a passion for video games and fitness for as long as I can remember.  I attended highschool at Cambria Heights, and completed my undergraduate degree in exercise physiology here at SFU, ending up with a bachelors of science in exercise physiology, and obtained my EP-C (Exercise Physiologist certification).  I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Physical Therapy at SFU, and plan on working in an outpatient setting after I graduate.  I work as the team trainer for the Esports program, helping to promote physical fitness and overall health.  This allows me to utilize my certification and bachelors degree while in grad school, and allows me to work with individuals in regards to health and fitness, which is something I love doing.  I have played video games from a very young age, and have always enjoyed the bonding component of them.   My brothers and I grew up playing games like super smash bros, golden eye 64, and killer instinct.  I love video games for the challenge, storytelling, wide array of characters, and soundtracks.  Some of my favorite games include: Bioshock, Dragon quest VIII, Persona 5, Undertale, Metroid prime, Bloodborne, and the Fallout series.  I haven’t been able to play a lot of games competitively but am usually able to place in high diamond in hearthstone, and have hit mythic rank a few times in Magic the gathering arena.

I was in competitive gymnastics in highschool and have sustained 4 ACL injuries.  I love playing tennis and longboarding.  I currently reside with my parents in Carrolltown Pennsylvania.
