Set 1 

Evoker starts the first game on a blind PS2 pick against Purdue University. Byleth comes into the match for Purdue. With Evoker at 118% damage, he takes Byleth's first stock with a jab totaling 159% damage. Evoker died to a side b attack before taking another stock from byleth. Evoker finishes the match with less than 10% damage using a neutral b to take byleth's last stock. Ness comes in to play next, and Evoker still has two stocks left. On small battlefield, Evoker takes the first stock from Ness using a back throw, but Evoker lost the next stock to back air. After landing a bunch of hits on each other, Ness dies at 163% damage from a jab. After Evoker's impressive start to the match, he lost his last stock from an up smash – leaving Ness with one stock to move on. Kirbs comes in next but cannot figure out Ness. Kirbs lost their first two stocks from back throw and up smash respectively, but she made a comeback and took Ness's last stock using side b into up throw. Kirbs ended up losing her last stock to Snake in the next battle from a dash attack. Louis and Snake match up next, both with all three stocks. Louis dies from a bomb to lose the first stock, but he killed Snake next using down air. Both sides play very well and land many hits. Link lost his next stock from a grenade explosion into up air. Link takes Snake's next stock before losing his last stock. Teo takes Snake's last stock with a zero to death combo. In the last game of set one, Teo takes on Kazuya on Smashville. Teo almost had another zero to death, but Kazuya couldn't recover and lost their stock. Teo took no damage. He starts edge guarding, and Teo used an up smash to take Kazuya's next stock. Teo, without losing a stock, finishes Kazuya using down b to win the first set. 


Set 2 

The team put Kirbs in first while Purdue picked Kazuya. Kirbs died to neutral air before taking a stock from Kazuya at 171% damage with forward tilt. Kirbs then lost both her next stocks to up smash and back air respectively. Evoker goes next on finale destination to fight Kazuya. Evoker takes Kazuya's first stock of game two using down smash, but Evoker took a lot of damage and died quickly after his kill. Evoker then takes Kazuya's last stock using neutral b. Terry comes into play, and he takes both of Evoker's remaining stocks. Louis and Terry fight, both starting with all three stocks. Louis uses edge guarding and a bomb to take Terry's first stock, but Louis lost a stock shortly after. With 136% damage, Louis lost his next stock with a "GO" move. Louis rebounds and takes Terry's last two stocks with forward air both times. Ness takes the stage for Purdue next. Louis takes one stock from Ness using down air but then lost his last remaining stock to back air. Now Teo comes in to finish the game. Up against their top two players, Teo must take five stocks two win the game. Ness self-destructed (sd-ed) to lose their first stock. Teo pineapple (up b-ed into the bottom of the stage) and lost a stock. Teo lost his next stock to a side b into down air off stage. Teo takes Ness's last stock using forward smash. Snake is the last to enter the game for Purdue. Teo has one stock remaining and needs to take three. Teo is able to take one stock but ultimately lost his last stock to up tilt.  
 

Set 3 

Kirbs starts set three using a new character, against Terry for Purdue. Terry lost the first stock of the set, but Kirbs lost her stock next using down b. Kirbs takes the next stock using forward air and lost a stock to a special input. However, Kirbs comes out on top and takes Terry's last stock. Kirbs has one stock remaining. Snake comes in and Kirbs takes his first stock with a quick jab-jab-down b maneuver. Kirbs then lost her last stock. Teo plays next as his back up character. Teo died to  a c4 and sd-ed losing two stocks. Snake then lost his next two stocks to a side b and by self-destructing. Another Terry comes in to play against Teo, but Teo died before he could take a stock. Evoker plays next on kalos. It is a very back and forth game. Evoker killed Terry using up air then Evoker died after that. Evoker took another stock using forward air this time, but he died after that as well. Finally, with both Evoker and Terry having one stock left, Evoker takes the last stock from Terry with three up airs in a row, never letting Terry touch the stage. Evoker lost his last remaining stock to Ness in the next battle. Louis finally comes in to play on town and city. Ness and Louis each have three stocks. Louis lost two stocks before taking one from Ness using up throw. But with an unfortunate ending to the team's impressive run, Louis lost his last stock.
