Saint Francis University SSBU Red team faced off against Catholic University of America in another 
exciting Super Smash Bros. tournament. The day was full of close matches, big comebacks, and 
some amazing plays across three full sets.

Set 1 began with Greninja (Nathaniel) going up against Yoshi. The match started even at 3-3, but 
Yoshi lost the first stock, then another to a down smash. Greninja lost one stock, but Yoshi 
couldn't recover and lost the last one, giving Greninja the win. Next, Greninja fought Pac-Man. 
Pac-Man dropped his first stock early, but Greninja eventually fell at 200% damage, evening 
things up. After trading blows, Greninja lost, and the match went to Pac-Man.

Louis came in next with Link to face Pac-Man. The match was close, with Link losing one stock 
to a forward smash but answering back with a forward air kill. After both went down to one 
stock each, Link finished strong with another aerial to win. Then, Link took on Min Min, but Min 
Min's range proved too much—Link fell, ending his run.

Carmen entered with Luigi to face Min Min. Both lost a stock early, but the match stayed even 
until the end. Luigi pulled off a zero-to-death combo starting with a forward air to take the last 
stock. It was an amazing finish that gave SFU a much-needed win.

Set 2 started with Yoshi vs. Isabelle. Isabelle lost a few stocks early, but Yoshi managed to stay 
ahead and finish with a win. Then Yoshi faced Link, who took the victory with a clean forward 
air. Link went up against Min Min next—after trading stocks back and forth, Min Min won a 
tough fight.

Greninja took on Min Min next, landing a forward air to win. He then fought Pac-Man in 
another close game. Both players lost stocks quickly, but Pac-Man came out on 
top. Luigi entered next, beating Pac-Man with a strong down B finisher. Luigi then faced Sora in 
a long and intense match. After both lost stocks, Sora managed to take the final one, giving his 
team the set.

Set 3 began with Isabelle vs. Sora. Both players traded stocks, but Isabelle fell first, giving Sora 
the win. Then Sora faced Link, and Link answered with solid play, taking down Sora's last two 
stocks. Link moved on to face Min Min, but couldn't keep up and was eliminated.

Greninja fought Min Min next, trading wins back and forth until the game was tied 1-1. In the 
final moments, Greninja fell, giving Min Min the win. Luigi came in next and quickly defeated 
Min Min. He then fought Yoshi, who lost two stocks before Luigi missed a recovery. Yoshi went 
down soon after, giving Luigi another win.

In the final match, Luigi vs. Pac-Man, both players traded stocks again and again. Luigi got the 
first kill, then Pac-Man answered back. In the end, Luigi lost his final stock, and the set—and the 
day—ended with a close but hard-fought game.
