The team met on November 4^th in the Esports arena to take on Elmira college. Tensions were high as the team has been met with only defeat thus far this season. Freshman tank player, Chase Forberger, played remotely from his home while the rest of the team played in person.
 
The starting lineup for the team is as follows:

Game one was played in the control map, Nepal. Round one didn't follow the team's usual pattern. The SFU white squad won the first round of the match for the first time this season. Spirits were high after taking the first point, leaving confidence for round two. The team's self-assurance was visible when team captain, Requiem, completed a 9 player kill streak. The team captured 96% of the objective before being contested by the Soaring Eagles. The round came to a nail-biting turn when the Eagles captured 99% of the objective. Under the direction of Requiem, the team was able to push back and capture the point. For the first time this season, the SFU Overwatch White squad won the first game of the match. Excitement filled the arena when the team erupted with joy. The Red squad was playing at the same time and took special notice to cheer on the white squad.
 
SFU's victory in game one meant that Elmira college would pick the next map. The Soaring Eagles chose the escort map, Dorado. The white squad chose to defend in the first round so they would know what they needed to accomplish. Most players decided to keep the same heroes; however, Volleyballer decided to switch to his ole reliable] Junkrat. The team took the high ground in order to defend against the Eagles. The team heavily communicated in order to halt Elmira college. In round one Requiem got a 15 player kill streak, Perogi69 went on 5 player kill streak and Volleyballer kept in suit 10 player kill streak. Elmira was only able to move the payload 55m. Upon entering round two, Naturedhalo switched to his tried and true Reaper. The team was feeling confident having had past victories in escort maps. It took mere minutes for the team to travel further than the Eagles. Damage player Volleyballer felt especially proud after earning play of the game by use of his ultimate ability, Rip-Tire. The White squad could taste victory after having won two games in one match for the first time this season.
 
Upon entering game three the white squad could see the end in sight. The Elmira Soaring Eagles chose to play game three in the attack map, Hanamura. Before beginning Naturedhalo switched heroes to Mei and Chazz switched to Roadhog. The team played a good round where most players earned a kill streak including: Naturedhalo, Requiem, Perogi69, Volleyballer. The Red Flash didn't allow the Eagles to earn a single tick. In round 2 Naturedhalo switched to Ashe and later to Reaper. The team worked together and kept energy high. It wasn't long before the team won game three taking the match. The arena erupted with excitement that the White squad had improved their record with a clean sweep. Requiem felt especially proud of his team for their growth and accomplishments and for earning play of the game in game three.
