On Wednesday February 3, 2021 the Overwatch white team reconvened in the Esports arena to commence another season. 5 members played in the arena while tank player, Chase played from the comfort of his home. AJ Schmidt was substituted by Hercules, Hayden Herc. Junior, Matthew Tran returned as Captain to lead his team.
 
          The starting lineup is as follows:
Requiem (C) – Reinhardt
Chazz – Roadhog
Hercules – Reaper
Naturedhalo – Junkrat
Perogi – Lucio
Atlas – Mercy
 
          Game one was played on Ilios, a control objective map. Immediately Requiem began calling plays right out of the gate. SFU started with a lead of controlling 25% before SUNY Canton could earn a single percentage point. SUNY Canton then made remarkable strides earning a whopping 93% before the white squad again gained control of the point. The round ended in 71 – 100% with SUNY Canton taking the lead. Round two began with a different narrative as SUNY Canton came in hot earning 99% control uncontested. SFU did their best in overtime to make a comeback, but ultimately fell to wrecking ball's wrath.
 
          Game two was chosen to be played in Dorado by SFU, per the ECAC rulebook. SUNY Canton quickly had to use a time out due to technical difficulties which delayed the start of game two. Historically SFU's Overwatch white team has seen the most success in the escort game objective. The team started defending against SUNY. SUNY Canton University escorted the payload through all through checkpoints undisturbed. SFU was desperate to act and decided they had to make strategic use of their ultimate abilities. However, the team was stunned to find that SUNY Canton was unphased by their efforts. "Jeez Louise!" exclaimed team captain, Matthew Tran. When it came time for SFU's offense the team had to re-strategize. The white squad successfully moved the payload 57.36m but again did not overcome SUNY Canton.
 
          Game three was again chosen by SFU to be played in Temple of Anubis, an attack objective map. About halfway through the game SUNY Canton ran into technical difficulties calling for a restart of the game. The chance at a restart however couldn't save the White squad as SUNY Canton again won the game and ultimately won the match.
 
          Overwatch white squad will meet again on Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 8:00 pm EST. The match will be available for streaming on Twitch.
