Game 1 – Control – Lijang Tower
Round 1
Requiem – Reinhardt
Perogi925 – Ana
NaturedHalo – Soldier 76
Chazz – D. Va
Atlas – Baptiste
Hercules – Junkrat
SFU came right out of the point to the right, hoping to flank and deal as much damage as possible. Requiem is able to pin the opposing Reinhardt, but is eliminated shortly after that. Caldwell takes the point first. At 58% for Caldwell, SFU tries to make a strong push to the front. Requiem switched to Winston to hopefully change up the pace. Caldwell's McCree gave SFU a lot of problems and Caldwell is able to take round 1.
Round 2
Requiem – Rein
Perogi925 – Anna
NaturedHalo – Tracer
Chazz – Roadhog
Atlas – Mercy
Hercules – Junkrat
This round, SFU is able to make a strong offensive push and take point first. Again, Caldwell's McCree is giving SFU some issues, but knowing this, Requiem and Perogi are able to communicate to the rest of the team to keep McCree at bay all while holding the point. After two strong offensive pushes, SFU decides to push back to pull off a full offensive push for point, but Caldwell is able to fend SFU off and hold SFU to 68%. Requiem is able to take down the opposing Rein and with that, SFU is able to take down Caldwell and take back point at 89%. At 99% for SFU, the opposing Hanzo pulls off his ultimate move and takes down the SFU defense and take point back and initiate overtime. This round went to the very last second, with both teams reaching 99% but Caldwell is able to run overtime out and Caldwell takes round two and game one.
Game 2 – Escort -
Round 1 - Defending
Requiem – Reinhardt
Perogi925 – Anna
NaturedHalo – Blue girl w/ teleport
Chazz – Zarya
Atlas – Mercy
Hercules – Torbjorn
SFU comes out in a different comp to try and deal with the opposing Hanzo/McCree. Caldwell is able to push straight through the first checkpoint. SFU is forced to regroup and are unable to stop Caldwell from reaching the second point quickly. Contesting very close to the final checkpoint, SFU decides to focus on Caldwell's Widow in hopes of taking a chunk of Caldwell's damage dealer away from the point. Even with the adjustments, SFU is unable to keep Caldwell from reaching the final checkpoint.
Round 2 - Attacking
Requiem – Winston
Perogi925 – Lucio
NaturedHalo – Tracer
Chazz – D. Va
Atlas – Mercy
Hercules – Purple girl
SFU's goal in this round is to push the payload to the final checkpoint in less time than Caldwell was able to. SFU decides to pull off a "dive" comp in hopes to deal as much damage as possible. SFU's first offensive push is unable to push the payload far, and are forced to regroup at spawn. Following another thwarted offensive push, SFU is again forced o regroup at spawn, hoping to move the payload farther. Another offensive push allows SFU t take down some of Caldwell's team, and push the payload almost to the first checkpoint. Caldwell is able to expire the clock and take game two.
Game 3 – Two-Point Control - Hanamura
Round 1 - Defending
Requiem – Rein
Perogi925 – Anna
NaturedHalo – Mei
Chazz – Roadhog
Atlas – Mercy
Hercules – Torb
SFU looks to use Hanamura's map set-up to keep Caldwell at a choke point. Half of SFU is taken down, but the other three are able to hold Caldwell and keep them from taking the first point. With multiple pushes to point from Caldwell, SFU is able to keep Caldwell at bay using Hanamura's major choke point at the front just in front of the point. Caldwell deals a large sum of damage and is able to take down SFU and take the first point. Setting up at the second point, SFU hopes to keep Caldwell from taking the next point. The second point is harder to control due to the many points of entry, but SFU does a good job at defending from multiple points and force Caldwell back. With 1:30 left on the clock, SFU is able to take down yet another offensive push, utilizing Mei's ice wall as a wall for Requiem to use his pin. SFU is able to contest in overtime, but is unable to keep Caldwell from taming both points.
Round 2
Requiem – Rein
Perogi925 – Anna
NaturedHalo – Junk
Chazz – Roadhog
Atlas – Mercy
Hercules – Hanzo
Again, SFU's goal is to take both points in less time than Caldwell. In the same way as SFU used Hanamura's main choke point, Caldwell does the same thing and pushes SFU back and regroups back at spawn. Atlas tries to revive Requiem, but Caldwell picks up on it and takes Atlas' chance away. With a strong offensive attack, SFU is able to push into the point and take down Caldwell and take the first point. SFU is able to make a quick and strong offensive push to the point and lock in one-third of the control meter. Heading back to point, SFU again contests point and again Caldwell is able to push SFU off. SFU decides to push to point from another angle, but Caldwell makes the quick adjustment and is able to keep SFU off point and take game 2.
